Harvest, Christmas, Easter and Leavers’ services all take place in the church with children participating in all aspects of worship.  We also use the church for events such as our art festival and singing concerts. The children’s study and understanding of Christianity is enhanced by class visits to the church where the children can explore the building and grounds; examine the different elements of worship; appreciate the interior’s beauty and serenity. 

The church community are an important part of the school with many of our reading volunteers also being members of the congregation. The church also donate breakfast items for pupils who come to school peckish. We are truly involved in their 'known and loved' project. 

The walk from school to church is a well-trodden one for the children and they enjoy the village footpath which takes them alongside the orchard and duck pond.

Families, new and old, are always welcomed into the church.
