Friends of Wateringbury (CE) Primary School

Every parent at our school is automatically a member of the Friends of Wateringbury Primary School (FOWPS), registered charity no. 1038836. FOWPS is run by a dynamic committee of friendly parents. 

FOWPS is about Fundraising, having Fun and making Friends. We raise money to buy new equipment and resources for the school by organising fetes, discos, film nights, shopping days, non-uniform days and quizzes and by applying for grants and securing sponsorship.

FOWPS has recently funded classroom carpets, our beautiful wildlife garden and skipping ropes for the whole school. 
We organised a 'Love Where You Learn' day where parents and volunteers came to help tidy up our extensive grounds and even managed to persuade Father Christmas to visit our school.
